The New York Jets have gone from a talented team on both sides of the football to start the 2024 NFL regular season with high hopes of contending for a Super Bowl title to a team that will almost certainly miss the NFL playoffs.
After losing to the Indianapolis Colts by one point in Week 11, the Jets seem like a team that can’t figure things out this season, as New York has been unable to put it all together despite making drastic changes, like firing head coach Robert Saleh and acquiring superstar wide receiver Davante Adams.
One thing the Jets thought they’d be able to lean on this season was their defense, as they have talent all over the field on that side of the football, led by up-and-coming cornerback Sauce Gardner.
Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case, and it has been a rough year for Gardner, who hasn’t picked off an opposing quarterback in 35 straight games, according to NFL on CBS.

It seems as though nothing is going right in New York with this once-promising and talented squad, which could mean there might be more drastic changes to come during the upcoming NFL offseason in order to either right the ship in hopes of contending or starting from scratch if there’s no faith in this squad moving forward.
Only time will tell what will happen to the lowly Jets, as they’ll try to end this season on a high note, even if that means failing to make it to the postseason.
