In response to NFL insider Jonathan Jones, New York Jets legend Nick Mangold has handed away.

Per Jones, the retired heart died on account of issues from a kidney illness.

He was simply 41 years outdated.

This information comes lower than two weeks after Mangold made a public attraction for a kidney transplant.

He introduced that he had been recognized with a uncommon genetic dysfunction that compelled him to endure kidney dialysis since 2006.

Previous to his passing, he was chosen as one of many 52 modern-era candidates to be inducted into the Professional Soccer Corridor of Fame.

Following a stellar profession with the Ohio State Buckeyes, he entered the league as a first-round choice in 2006, and he grew to become instrumental of their playoff appearances in 2006, 2009, and 2010.
