The New York Giants have a renewed sense of hope and pleasure ever since quarterback Jaxson Dart took over for Russell Wilson, particularly after the rookie helped the staff dismantle the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6.

Whereas it’s potential the Giants may already be too far behind to make the playoffs, it’s not out of the query, which is why there are whispers that they could possibly be aggressive on the NFL commerce deadline.

Analyst Doug Rush not too long ago proposed a deal that will have the Giants ship a fourth-round choose and a seventh-round choice to the New Orleans Saints for broad receiver Chris Olave and a sixth-round selection.

After an injury-plagued 2024 marketing campaign, Olave is off to begin this season with 39 receptions for 342 yards and one landing, and at 25 years previous, he has the potential to be the Giants’ long-term WR2 alongside Malik Nabers.

On paper, Olave could be an ideal match and would make Dart’s life simpler, and with New Orleans’ future far more unsure than New York’s, his identify goes to come back up loads in commerce rumors over the subsequent few weeks.

The Saints have already exercised the fifth-year choice on Olave’s contract, so if the Giants do commerce for him, it could be sensible to increase him as a part of the deal.

It’s solely hypothesis, however Olave could possibly be a large addition for the Giants’ offense this 12 months and sooner or later.
