The Las Vegas Raiders made a large splash on Friday by hiring Pete Carroll to be their new head coach, and that transfer has seemingly given their long-suffering followers some hope for the fast future.

Now, the group has to tackle the duty of fixing a roster that has many holes.

First on their to-do checklist must be discovering an improve on the quarterback place, and there occurs to be a signal-caller who spent a few years enjoying for Carroll and is slated to change into a free agent — Russell Wilson.

One analyst feels the Raiders ought to signal Wilson, particularly since he could be a cheaper get than Professional Bowler Sam Darnold, per Zach Gelb.

After leaving Carroll and the Seattle Seahawks following the 2021 season, Wilson went to the Denver Broncos and had two dismal seasons during which he missed the playoffs each years.

This season, as a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers, his degree of play picked up a bit, and he guided Pittsburgh to a 10-7 document whereas getting them to the playoffs.

Clearly, Wilson, who’s 36 years of age, isn’t the participant he was a number of years in the past when he was constantly chosen to seem within the Professional Bowl and led a Seahawks group that was a perennial contender.

These Seahawks received all of it within the 2013 season and almost repeated as Tremendous Bowl champions the next season.

The Raiders have a star within the making in rookie tight finish Brock Bowers and a longtime star in go rusher Maxx Crosby, however aside from that, they want loads of assist, roster-wise.
