The Los Angeles Rams were headed in the wrong direction during the first five weeks of the 2024 NFL regular season, with Matthew Stafford and company losing four of their first five games and looking like a team that could be headed for a disappointing end to the year.
Fortunately for Sean McVay’s squad, the Rams were able to show signs of life with a three-game winning streak before losing to the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football in Week 10.
Although the Rams are sporting a losing record of 4-5 heading into Week 11, the Rams have an opportunity to get back on track while taking advantage of the lowly New England Patriots on the road at Gillette Stadium.
Ahead of the matchup with the Patriots in New England, the Rams brass decided to make a couple of moves by elevating defensive end Jonah Williams and right tackle Geron Christian, according to Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston.

With the NFC West division title very much up for grabs, the Rams have an opportunity to punch their ticket to the NFL playoffs by coming out on top in the division, but they will need to win games that they are expected to win, like this matchup with the Patriots on Sunday.
It’ll be interesting to see if the Rams can bounce back this weekend and keep their hopes for a playoff berth alive, as Los Angeles has shown promise that they can be a competitive football team when locked in and motivated.
