The Los Angeles Rams have one of the most underrated players in NFL history.
Cooper Kupp doesn’t get as much credit as he should, but when he is healthy, he’s been one of the most dominant wide receivers in the game for almost five years.
He was already a reliable pass-catcher with Jared Goff at the helm, but his chemistry with Matthew Stafford has been off the charts from day one.
That’s why he could make NFL history on Sunday and set an even more impressive mark over the next couple of games.
As noted by ESPN insider Field Yates on X, Kupp is just six receptions away from matching Anquan Boldin with 614 receptions in his first 100 career games.

Notably, he trails only Boldin, Julio Jones (619), Antonio Brown (622), and Keenan Allen (624 on that list).
Kupp is about to play in his 98th career game, so he’ll have three more games to keep climbing the ladder on that list.
Since Stafford joined the team, Kupp has averaged 8.2 catches per game despite having just 4.9 last season.
He averaged 8.5, 8.3, and 8.2 catches a game in all three seasons with Stafford, including this one, so he’s well on pace to set a new mark.
Kupp was the most recent winner of the wide receiver’s triple crown, winning Offensive Player of the Year honors.
That, plus his Super Bowl ring and most likely this record, might be enough to sneak into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
