Former Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton is arguably the best Panthers player of all time.
However, he was not invited to the Panthers’ game in Germany last week against the New York Giants even though other Panthers legends were.
Newton, on his 4th & 1 show this week, got honest about his legacy and relationship with the Panthers.
“I have no quarrel with anybody in the Panthers organization…I gave this city everything,” Newton said while chatting about how things ended with the team and how he was perceived by the organization.

The former MVP also brought up how when we went into the team’s building with his seven-on-seven flag football team last year, there were no photos or signs of him.
Remember, this is one of the greatest rushing quarterbacks in the history of the NFL.
The All-Pro spent a decade in Carolina and took the team back to the Super Bowl in the process.
To see no signs of himself being there sounds like it was a shock.
Now, this is not the first time that a former player has had a bad relationship with the team that he played for for so long.
Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receiver Calvin Johnson did not have the best relationship with the Detroit Lions after he retired.
Now, the relationship looks to be in a better spot judging by the success that the Lions have had in this Dan Campbell era.
But for Newton and the Panthers, it looks like things are still in a bad spot from a relationship perspective.
